It is not . .

It is not always rainbows an butterflies but compromise that moves us along . . . . I recently found out the true meaning to this. Apart from its part in Maroon 5's song.

University stuff has been such a drag the last few days.
I have no idea how many lettters i have written so far and they just do not seem any good.
I always knew where i wanted to study, where i wanted to get my medicine degree from but sadly as you grow up all the complications just seem so real.
I found out my Univresities were not the best for my specific course.
It was such a let down. As if my organs were ripped out of place.
But as we all know not everything goes the way you plan.
You just have to learn to understand and know what you can do differently in order to make things happen.
Hence change is good and tasting different waters is probably the right way to go.

So i have learnt to compromise with what i have been offered.
Lets be able to make positive changes in our life it could just be for the best.

I shall pen off here.

Au revoir!

Men superior to Women?

On the contrary;
These days women are taking the world by storm.
Taking over jobs that men once held and being part of the big picture.
I am not supporting Hilary Clinton, but she would make history if a woman became president of the worlds most powerful country.

But of late all this "who is superior" has started to circulate us. Its as if men know whats happening and are trying to put a stop to this.
Lately there was a debate in my class that ended in getting everybody upset.
But in opinion on this is that, we women, also have a say.
If we didn't we would not have mouths or even brains!
I understand that some jobs women are better off doing than men, but they should be given a chance cause they can do other stuff.

To finish this off there's some story i heard:

"There was this family that got the chance to live in the west(
Continental European). They settled in well and rather fast. Because the mother was a medical doctor she found a spot in the local medical care centre that got the family enough money to survive plus obviously the monthly money they would get to help them along. So basically it was going well for them. As far as i know the father had odd jobs here and there, but because he was jealouse of his wife, he decided to move the family to the Anglo - saxon model side of life!
And right now he has no job and neither does his wife.
He thought he wuld get a job and better welfare but all he gets is the exact opposite."

Im sure you can figure out what the moral is. . .

Men are only as loyal as their options. ~Bill Maher

It hurts!

I just fell of my chair and hit my toe against one of the legs of my desk!
The pain is incredible!
Im sure we have all been there many times before!
But that's life!

I was just htinking about something I watched on "The Real World - Las Vegas"
They had this episode where they were meant to bond.
I learnt osmehting very interesting here, goes something like this;
Say you were on a boat with a few friends of yours. .
Somehting happens to that boat and everyone soon realises there is just one life boat for only one person!
Now in the program the group members were told to choose who would die and who would get that life boat and bring messages back to their loved ones.
It it quite an emotional thing.
But just a few questions:
Would you just give up your life like that?
Would you be able to choose who would send your messages back?
This showed alot about the human heart., that its not actually as selfish as others would percieve.
We have the capability to give up things very precious to us including our life.
But just tihnk about who you would choose.
Think about what you would do. . . be slefish and take the boat for yourself or would you have someone else get that chance at living again?
What would you say to them, who would you like them to talk to, what would the person have to tell them on your behalf?
Definitely some soul searching.
Good luck!

Is it really over?

Kenya has been on our minds ever since the December elections.
But recently the two major leaders decided on power sharing. Which would mean the Opposition leader Hon. Raila Odinga would take place as Prime minister.
This must have come as a relief to most Kenyans after the deadly killings that have been going on.
You dont expect such a thing to happen to a fast developing country such as Kenya.
But as people say History does repeat itself. We are truly never free from the past and the mistakes made in the past.
One problem with gazing too frequently into the past is that we may turn around to find the future has run out on us. ~Michael Cibenko

I do hope that this teaches ,not only african countries, but even the most civilised countries a lesson.
Your culture or whatever should not be a reason to kill one another!
In the end there is peace. But should we have to go through killings and such just to get to peace. Why cant we jsut practise it now.
Do what you can to help the world and people.

Back again.

Well apart from me coming back . . .
...there's been something else that came back aswell.
In one of my previous post i wrote about the movie "Two can play that game".
Well to shock you all they have released yet another of this type of movies.
And yes Vivica Fox still playing the lead role and looking as stunning as ever.
Three Can Play That Game.
It was released this year in January and it is just as interesting as the previous one.
As i said before I wonder wether her rules can really work.
No offence to guys but I love it when they are in need and are very desperate.
They come crawling back to you and realise they can't live without you.
prove Obviously women have this hold on their men and even though most will try to get away it would difficult.
On another note:
This sort of movie shows that women too can have the upper hand.
And the days of the woman just being a housewife are long over.
We can indeed make a difference by helping others.
The movie might say one thing but all I want to say is that women these days are different. They will bring and make change all over the world. Because of the drive they have the sympathy they have got and most of all understanding!
